Hi! My name is Melissa but you can call me “Mix”. Organizing has been a part of my life for a long time. I remember as a kid turning all of the canned goods in the grocery store label out as I walked by. Then came fashion, I had a love for putting outfits together not only for myself but for family and friends. I have fond memories of pacing up and down the racks of countless thrift stores with my mom. My love for decorating came as my grandmother and I would walk through open houses talking about what kind of curtains we would hang and where the couch would go.
Naturally it led me to earning my Fashion Merchandising and Apparel Design Degree at Georgia Southern University and interning for a couture evening dress designer in New York City. Through my retail and event managing career I added Residential Interior Design and Professional Organizing certificates to my education.
I enjoy helping others, I am an Enneagram 2 after all and making people feel their best. I still enjoy thrifting and finding the best deal at antique stores. I am a dog and cat mom who loves collecting Lego and vinyl albums. I am a lover of road trips and exploring our national parks. I have enjoyed years of organizing and styling because it combines the enjoyment of helping others while getting to explore my creativity.
